What is a Content Management System (CMS)?

A Content Management System is an application that enables you to be in control of the content on your website without needing to programming knowledge or learning technical skills. Very similar to a Word document, it allows you to add sections and pages to your website, update text, news items, links, downloadables and images on the pages, and focus on the messages you're communicating with your customers.
